The case study paper is individual, not group, work.  Your paper is due on November 3.  Your case will be Case 12.2 Fitl v. Strek , which is described on page 335 of your Miller/Cross Legal Environment Today (8^th edition) textbook. You will get to brief the case based on the discussion of how to brief cases in Appendix A on page  A-1 of your text.  Also answer the two questions (the “what if the facts were different?” And “ the legal environment dimension”) at the end of the case. The case study paper is worth 25 points.

You should do your own work.  If it appears that several students have collaborated extensively on the paper, all will share the grade.  For example, a case worth 25 points split six ways would be 4.17 points per student. The instructor’s judgment will rule in these cases.  If you want to minimize the risk that your work may appear as part of a collaboration, be sure your submission is unique.

Papers should be a minimum of one page and maximum of four pages, typed and double spaced between paragraphs and subheadings. Staple pages together in the upper left corner before class. DO NOT put the paper into a folder or binder of any sort.  The printed paper must be turned in at the beginning of class. The instructor will not accept alternate delivery, including email, drop box or FAX. You may turn your work in early, but late papers will not be accepted
